Kimberly Kent BSN., RN., JD

Kimberly Kent is the founding and managing member of Kent Law Group a boutique law firm specializing in civil transactions and litigation. Ms. Kent is a trial attorney representing health providers and patients for over 28 years. She has successfully tried to verdict numerous complex medical malpractice cases with substantial exposure. She is a dynamic speaker who often teaches physicians, nurses, and allied professionals how to improve care through the art of documentation.

Kim has been married for over 30 years to a loving and smart civil engineer.  Gregg and Kim have two wonderful children (now adults).  Kim is a five-time marathon runner and masters swimmer.  She is a certified yoga instructor but her favorite thing to do it take long hikes with her dogs.  She is a third generation Arizonan.


Melissa Gutknecht

Melissa Gutknecht graduated from Arizona State University with a Baccalaureate of Science degree in Business with an emphasis in finance. Ms. Gutknecht’s background consists of both accounting and litigation experience. Prior to joining Kent Law Group in 2008, she worked as a paralegal for Fulbright & Jaworski and Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold in Dallas, Texas in the area of products liability and insurance defense including class actions. Melissa is an Arizona native who loves to go on long hikes with her family and two Rhodesian Ridgebacks.

Kathy Gray is a Native Phoenician. Kathy has been a legal assistant for the past fifteen years and loves working for Kent Law Group for the past four years. Kathy has three wonderful children and one amazing grandson. Kathy enjoys bike riding, hiking, hanging out with family and friends, and traveling.

Connie McQueary

Connie McQueary has worked her entire career, since age 16, with attorneys in all areas of law. She has spent 12 years working as a court reporter. Her longest stint in the law field has been in workers’ compensation. She joined Kent Law Group a year ago and is learning a whole new realm of law in medical malpractice and Arizona board cases. She enjoys being outdoors hiking, walking, but nothing beats sitting on the beach. She has three adult children who light up her world and two grand-puppies.
